My WW Food Journey
My journey in losing those extra pounds!

Week One Back on Plan

So, it really shouldn’t come as any shock that I lost this week. Duh, Weight Watchers works if you follow the plan. I lost 2.8 pounds.  Shocking really….yet, not shocking.

This week I tracked every morsel in my QuickTrack system. Usually, I track everything online, but my leader encouraged me to give her a copy when I weighed in today. I left it on my counter all week and as I’d grab a bite I’d track it right then.  If I was leaving, no matter it went with me. I’d track what I thought I’d eat beforehand and stick to it OR just write it as I went.

Its just amazing to me what it does to you mentally when you write it all down as you go. You really think twice, “Do I really want a fiber one bar now or potatoes with dinner tonight?” Really, the main key to WW just that – write it down! I think back to why/when I gain, its because I’m “mentally” calculating the points. Did you catch the keyword? MENTALLY.  You need to physically write it down.

I also made another change this week, DH and I joined the gym and started going.  We’ve done VERY VERY well. But, back to the whole writing it down thing…it helped to write down my activity points.

So, this week, I’ll be back to physically writing down my points and hopefully downing some more pounds.
